The editors of Epicurious and Chicago's top chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists invite you to join us for an exceptional weekend experience at one of the city's most spectacular spaces, the Chicago Illuminating Company.
The first-ever Epicurious Entertains Chicago will be a one-of-a-kind two-day event featuring a hometown lineup:

Cooking with Kids

Cost: $25 per adult (includes two kids for free)
Join Epicurious editor-in-chief Tanya Steel (author of Real Food for Healthy Kids) and Purple Asparagus and Let's Move chef Melissa Graham for a morning jam-packed with hands-on cooking classes devoted to kid-friendly fare. Kids will participate in healthy-cooking demonstrations; learn how to plant their own herb and vegetable garden; decorate their own cookies, aprons and herb pots; and enjoy lots of munchies, including a nutritious snack pack. All activities are designed to engage, educate, and feed junior chefs, ages 2 to 12.

We've got you covered with classes and interactive demonstrations spotlighting the beer cocktails and trendsetting drinks you need to know now, herb gardening and flower-arranging tips from the pros, and creative inspiration in the kitchen. Sable Kitchen & Bar's Mike Ryan, master sommelier Alpana Singh, Vosges founder Katrina Markoff, and Mike Hines of Epoch Floral will reveal their delicious secrets in this afternoon session of Epicurious-style entertaining.
Tickets are $35 per adult, and include tastings and drinks.

Watch Sunday's live baseball games—the Cubs against the Dodgers and the White Sox versus the Tigers—mingle with sports fans and legendary players, and feast on a buffet of barbecue and Southern favorites from Lillie's Q, including ribs, pulled pork, mac n' cheese, and pulled chicken, plus beer and cocktails. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Chicago Food Depository, feeding 678,000 adults and children in Cook County every year.

Come meet three of Chicago's culinary superstars at our exclusive sit-down three-course dinner inside the spectacular Chicago Illuminating Company. Dinner includes cocktails, hors d'Oeuvres, and wine.
